NEW L’Oreal Blow Dry it Quick Dry Primer

L'Oreal Blow Dry It Quick Dry Primer Spray Review

L'Oreal Blow Dry It Quick Dry Primer Spray ReviewDid you ever notice that I don’t feature hair products here on the blog very often? That’s because usually I like to keep my hair-care routine to a bare minimum. Now that I have finally grown out my hair (only took me a year hah!) it’s long to the point where my ends tend to get a bit brittle and drying my hair takes forever. L’Oreal’s new Blow Dry it Quick Dry Primer spray has caught my for two reasons: it promises to not only cut down the time it takes to blow dry the hair, but it also acts as a heat protectant.

When my hair was shorter, I used to just let it air dry, but now that it’s so long I usually have no other choice but to blow dry it. One thing that I really don’t like about blow-drying my hair though is the fact that it always looks super puffy and frizzy (the fact that I use an ancient blow-dryer probably doesn’t help). It doesn’t matter how many smoothing serums/sprays I use, my hair always looks like hay. As I already mentioned, it also takes forever. At times I find myself feeling so frustrated, hot and tired from having to hold my hands up for so long that all I want to do is chop all my hair off. This is also one of the reasons why I can’t keep shears or scissors anywhere near whenever I’m trying to style my hair (true story, btw I actually did cut my hair once out of frustration….perhaps I should say I butchered it, rather than cut it..).

This new Quick Dry Primer Spray by L’Oreal is one of the best hair styling products I’ve tried. I don’t know how it works or what kind of sorcery is involved here, but it actually does what it says: it cuts down the time it takes for me to blow dry my hair. Most of priming hair-styling products leave my hair feeling sticky and dull and that’s one of the reasons why I was a bit skeptical about this spray.

L'Oreal DRY IT Quick Dry Primer Spray

I section my damp hair right after washing it, spray each section with L’Oreal’s Blow Dry it Quick Dry Primer Spray and proceed to blow dry my hair as usual. I think that the time it took me to style my hair was reduced by approximately 40% and who wouldn’t want to use more time when getting ready in the morning? Heat protection that this product provides is another huge plus; it helps to minimize breakage and damage that can be caused when using hot styling tools. Now, the best part about this spray is how smooth it makes my hair feel. It feels just like silk, with no frizziness, no puffiness or sticky residue. I was so happy that this worked so well for me, especially because I just tested another blow dry spray- Suave Luxe Style Infusion Volumizing Weightess Blow Dry Spray- that was absolutely horrible- and I’m a huge fan of Suave products, but that just left my hair feeling and looking like a hot mess. This primer spray also has an oil/serum like formula that is very smoothing, but does not leave any oily residue in my hair. It also smells AMAZING. Honestly, can’t think of one negative thing to say about this spray, other than the fact that I had to live without it for the past 25 years.
