You know just how much I love my Tartelette palette from Tarte, I use it almost daily. You can imagine just how excited I was when I found out that that they’re releasing another version of  this Amazonian Clay Palette!

Tarte Tartelette 2 In Bloom Amazonian Clay Palette comes in pretty much identical packaging as the original Tartelette palette: sturdy with a big mirror. There are 12 brand new eyeshadows included in this palette; 9 mattes and 3 gorgeous lusters: Charmer– Off white matte; Jetsetter– warm, taupe matte; Rocker– shimmering taupe; Smokeshow- black brown matte; Flower Child– peachy nude matte; Smarty pants– tan matte; Firecraker– brozne copper; Activist– dark brown matte; Funny girl– shimmering champagne; Sweetheart– peach matte; Rebel– chestnut brown matte; Leader– aubergine matte.

Formula-wise these are just as amazing as the Tartelette palette; the mattes feel extremely buttery and the lusters are incredibly smooth as well. They blend beautifully and are pretty long-lasting. I absolutely love every single shadow included in this palette, the colors are great for an everyday use and they are very easy to work with.

Tartelette 2 palette review

I was afraid that there would be some fallout wight the luster shades, but they are just as smooth and creamy as the mattes. One thing that I think is a little different about this palette is that it’s scented. I don’t know if it’s just me, but as soon as I opened it, I was reminded of the Too Faced Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar palette, I think that the smell is very similar. I thought this was a little strange, because I didn’t see this mentioned in the description of this palette. Looking at the list of ingredients, it looks like these contain a little vanilla extract, which is probably responsible for that delicate, sweet scent.

I think that I like this palette even better than the original Tartelette. I think that the colors in Tartelette 2 in Bloom are even more universally flattering and they work beautifully with my skin tone. I also love that there are three luster shades included in this as well, I think that it’s a great option for someone like me who loves their mattes but still likes a little sparkle here and there.

The packaging is such as gorgeous as the product itself!

Really loving the packaging and the shades in this, the first palette…I wanted it, but after a while of trying to decide if I should get it, I decided not to because it was a little too purple but I really like this one.

Yeah the first one does have a lot of purples, I think this is why I like this one a little more! ;)

This palette looks stunning! I have the original and use it super often too, but I don’t think I’ll be able to resist this one much longer. I love that they added a few more shimmery colors this time.
