Lovin’ Lately

Beautyy Faves thirteenthoughts blogAnyone else battling winter blues? Seasonal Affective Disorder is no joke. While we haven’t got much snow just yet, freezing temperatures, gloomy skies and strong winds make me miserable at times, especially when looking out the window. Using a favorite summer scent and playing with makeup seemed to helped me battle this SAD. Here some products that I’ve been loving lately.

UD Naked Palette The original NAKED palette by Urban Decay has always been one of my favorites. After months of not using it, I dug it up when cleaning out my makeup (felt so good to throw away all that old and expired makeup that I’ve been hoarding for years) and can’t stop using it since. Sin, Virgin, Buck and Half-Baked are some of my favorite shades.

YSL Baby Doll MascaraNew mascara that I’ve been testing: YSL Babydoll mascara. Other than a gorgeous packaging it also has an interesting formula and a great wand/brush. You can expect to see me review this baby really soon.

Chanel Chance Perfume

Chanel Chance Eau Tendre is one of my favorite summer scents. Incredibly light, refreshing, fruity, young, delicate and radiant. If I were to only use once scent for the rest of my life, this could easily be it. It’s beautifully intoxicating and seductive. Because I usually use this in the summer, it always brings back memories of hot, sunny days. I started using this perfume again during last couple of days in hopes of beating those winter blues. Guess what? It kinda worked…

Too Faced Melted NudeToo Faced Melted Long-Wear Liquid Lipstick in Melted Nude. Gorgeous, peachy-toned nude that I’ve been using quite a lot lately. Great color for an everyday use and quite long lasting as well.

What products have you guys been loving lately?

I can’t wait to see your review on the YSL mascara, it looks beautiful! Can’t say I have any faves right now, I’ve barely been wearing any makeup!

Who says perfume can never fix anything! Ooh, the original Naked is totally my favourite, too! The shades are just gorgeous and they work totally well for any occasion!
YSL is not a brand of mascara I have tried and cannot wait to read your review to see if £20+ is worth it for this baby (see what I did there? Okay, wasn’t that funny..).
I love the too faced eye makeup but for lip products, they wouldn’t be the first brand that pops to mind – I can’t wait to see what other shades they have!
I hope you feel better soon, Paula, just remember: the sun, and vitamin D, is just around the corner! <3

They really are! Hehehe yes I do see what you did there! ;) So far I do have to say I like it quite a lot! Thanks so much Puja! I’m a little better, considering that yesterday temperatures were closest to those in spring, unfortunately it’s back to freezing cold today haha ;)

Too Faced Melted looks so good! I’ve seen people use it in tutorials and it’s gorgeous! And the original Naked palette is so pretty :)
