This time I picked up “Beige” Shimmer Brick; this beauty is a compact of five beautiful shimmery, golden, beige colors. Just like with Rose Shimmer Brick, this highlighting powder is awesome at multitasking. It can be used all over the face: cheekbones, eyebrow arch, eyes, cupid’s bow and bridge of the nose, sometimes I even like to use it to on my collar bone, for a subtle sheen. The colors are universally flattering giving off sandy, beige and iridescent champagne vibes. Beige Shimmer Brick looks especially beautiful when applied over blush; despite being a highlighting powder and providing an amazing glow and shimmer, it’s not over-the-top and free of glitter. I also love the fact that it it has this gorgeous, silky smooth finish and does not settle in pores and is very long lasting.
Bobbi Brown’s Shimmer Brick is definitely one of these cult makeup products; it’s also one that I’ve wanted to try for ages, but thought that it was a bit pricey for a highlighting product. After I finally caved in and bought Rose Shimmer Brick, I realized that these are very much worth the price. I’ve been using my Rose Shimmer Brick pretty much every single day for about a year now, and I have yet to hit the pan. Another thing worth noting is that these are not only high-quality products, but also very multitasking, which is always a huge plus in my book.
