THIRTEEN THOUGHTS

How I whiten my teeth at home + Giveaway [CLOSED]

Happy Hump Day everyone! Today I have a very exciting post for you with a little giveaway included at the end, so make sure to keep reading!*

As you might have guessed by the title of this post, today I’ll tell you how I keep my pearly whites… well… white. In the past, I was pretty much addicted to those whitening strips you buy at a drugstore. They worked fine for me, but the results came with a price: after each use, I had to deal with awful tooth sensitivity for the next couple of days. In addition to that, the strips weren’t wide enough to cover all of my teeth, so If I happened to smile really wide, you could tell that my front teeth and my back teeth were different shades.

Smile brilliant review

A few weeks ago I got a chance to try something very different: custom-fitted teeth whitening kit from Smile Brilliant. I noticed great results after just one use and that’s when I knew that I had to tell you guys all about it.

How does it work? After placing your order with Smile Brilliant you will receive professional teeth whitening gel (you can also order a desensitizing gel that you use prior to whitening your teeth which is what I used), detailed instructions on how to make your own dental impressions and impressions materials. After you make your own impressions, you mail them to Smile Brilliant using the pre-paid envelope that comes with a kit. Shortly thereafter you will receive your custom-fitted trays in the mail and can start using the kit right away (I believe that I received mine back within about 10 business days). You can see what the process of creating your impressions looks like right here.

As I already mentioned, because of my history of sensitivity I also used the desensitizing gel prior to application of my teeth whitening gel and I have experienced zero sensitivity during and after the use. The custom dental trays that I received fit perfectly and were very comfortable to wear. I didn’t experience any leaking, drooling, etc (gross, I know, but that’s exactly what I went through with using other whitening kits). You can use the gel for anywhere between 45 minutes to 3 hours at a time (after 3 hours it becomes ineffective so keeping it for longer than that makes no sense). I actually spoke with someone from the Smile Brilliant team on the phone prior to using this kit, and was pretty impressed by how knowledgeable he was, both about the process of creating custom trays, whitening process and the whitening gel product itself.

Now for the fun part! Folks at Smile Brilliant were kind enough to offer to giveaway $139.95 store credit to one of my lovely readers, which equals 1 set of custom teeth whitening trays, 3 whitening gel syringes and 3 desensitizing gel syringes (or, if you don’t have sensitive teeth, you can go with 6 whitening gel syringes). This giveaway is open to US residents BUT if you’re outside of US and still would like to enter, you can do so, but please note that you will be responsible for covering the cost of shipping your impressions back to Smile Brilliant. If you’re a US resident, you will be able to ship your impressions back to Smile Brilliant at no cost. To enter the giveaway click HERE. This giveaway will be open for two weeks, the winner will be notified via email. In addition, I have a coupon code for you guys: “thirteenthoughts” which will save you 5% off entire product list on Smile Brilliant. Feel free to ask me any questions down below!
