Autumn may have just started, but I already found a perfect makeup product for my lips, one that I intend to use all season long: MAC Lip Pencil in Soar.
MAC lip pencils always guarantee a smooth and non-drying application, but I have to say that “Soar” is exceptionally creamy. It really glides on like a dream and doesn’t flake or dry out my lips like some of the drugstore lip liners tend to do. It’s pretty long lasting as well; I would say that after about 4 hours is when I usually notice that the edges are slowly becoming “blurry” (“Soar” is a “regular” lip pencil by MAC, their pro-long wear lip pencils last even longer).
“Soar” is a beautiful, neutral, mauve-y, dusty pink color. It’s definitely a bit similar to Whirl, but a bit closer to my natural lip color, which I looove. I’m convinced that this shade would look great on almost anyone. It looks beautiful on its own or when paired with pinks, nudes, soft reds or even just a regular lip-balm. It’s just one of those colors that’s highly versatile. I especially like using it with Velvet Teddy by MAC or a bit of a lip gloss/lip balm, for an everyday, natural look.
I think that my love for this lip pencil is actually becoming quite annoying. I reach for it almost every single day and refuse to use anything else. I noticed that I get like this especially when it comes to lipsticks, when I like something I just use it for weeks, nonstop until I eventually grow bored :| (I don’t see myself getting tired of this one anytime soon though ;) ). Does anyone else have the same problem?
