NYX Intense Butter Glosses

NYX just released a new version of their butter glosses: NYX Intense Butter Gloss and I couldn’t be more excited about these!

These Intense Butter Glosses are called intense for a reason. They pack a whole lot of color and deliver an unbelievably glossy finish, it’s almost like a paint for your lips! The formula is quite thick (much thicker than with original NYX’s Butter Gloss) and the color payoff is amazing. The pigmentation is just as good as with a lipstick. You can apply two layers for that intense, out-of-this-world glossy look, or go with one layer and blot it with a tissue for a more toned-down option.

These Intense Butter Glosses also feel incredibly luxurious on the lips and definitely compare to few of its high-end competitors.  They come in 12 different shades and I picked up 5 of them. I went with more subtle colors (although with formula like this they’re not so subtle after all) and ones that I’d actually use.

My favorite shade has got to be Tres Leches. It’s such a gorgeous nude color that works surprisingly well with my skin tone and is a great every-day essential. Sorbet is another nice, every-day favorite of mine. Napoleon is a gorgeous peachy pink that is slightly deeper than Sorbet. NYX Intense Butter Gloss in Funnel Delight is a super bright pink-purple color that makes me wish it was summer already! A very fun pink shade that reminds a bit of NYX’s Matte Lipstick in Sweet Pink. Apple Crisp is a gorgeous, gorgeous red.

These Intense Butter Glosses by NYX are a bolder, brighter, glossier, better version of the Butter Glosses that we all love so much! The scent and an applicator seems to be the same, although the packaging and texture is slightly different (if you don’t like extremely thick lip products, you might want to stick to the original version of these). These beauties sell for $5.99.
