THIRTEEN THOUGHTS

Rose & Blush

It’s been a while since we’ve had an outfit post, here on the blog, hasn’t it?

We meant to take some outfit pictures a while ago, but the weather just wouldn’t cooperate. It rained every.single.weekend for three weeks straight. Now, as I’m typing this, we’re fighting a massive heatwave (the Rosé and chilled watermelon are helping, thank you very much) but just two weeks ago I was freezing while taking these pictures on a Sunday morning. Good news is, it looks like summer is already here- and trust me, I’m not complaining.

I showed you this Express jacket in this post and I have to say that I wish I could wear it every  single day. It’s lightweight, comfy and I love the color- which is big of me to say, because my favorite colors when it comes to clothing include black and ….. that’s about it. I wore it with jeans, dresses, skirts and it just seems to work with everything- you can find it at 40% off now right here. It’s perfect for those cool mornings or evenings- and as someone who is constantly cold, cute moto jackets are a bit of a staple in my wardrobe.

My black bodysuit is from Express as well. I have to be honest, I don’t usually wear skirts or dresses too often, but I love this bodysuit because it helps me solve a problem I always seem to have, whenever I wear skirts- what top would work with this? This bodysuit also works great with shorts and jeans, I had to order one in blush, too.

Speaking of online shopping, I got this gorgeous blush, maxi skirt from Romwe- it was my first and most definitely LAST time shopping there. I ordered a few things and even though I really love the skirt (good quality, doesn’t wrinkle easily, fits like a glove and it has a really nice and soft material that’s very flattering) the rest of my order was complete crap- like an “oversized” shirt that looked like a cropped top when I put it on. But you live and learn… am I right?

Hope you’re all enjoying your long weekend so far- I’m not going back to work until Wednesday, so I’m definitely enjoying mine (having a bit of a Harry Potter marathon today which I always find comforting, especially after those few very emotional weeks I’ve had, but I promise to get off the couch tomorrow :D).
