Smashbox Photoready BB Cream

Here’s a product that I’ve been dying to try: Smashbox Camera Ready BB cream.
It comes in five different shades: fair, light, light-medium, medium and dark. I went with shade “light”, which was a bit darker than I would expect but since my face is lighter than the rest of my body, it works for me. Price? $39.00.

What I like: it leaves the skin feeling very nice and smooth, evens out the skin tone; it’s moisturizing; it has spf 35 in it; it can be used both alone and as a foundation primer to get more coverage, the BB cream used itself provides quite light coverage.

What I don’t like: doesn’t last too long on the skin (especially if you’re on the oily side), even though it’s moisturizing, it can still accentuate dry and flaky patches on the skin; lastly, the bottle is tiny.

I really like this BB Cream, it’s ideal for those days when I don’t feel like I have to wear a lot of makeup. Powder, however, is an absolute must when using this product, at least for me.
