THIRTEEN THOUGHTS

Transition- Fall OOTD

The temperatures might still be quite high, but there’s no denying that our mornings and evenings have gotten much cooler.

There are few pieces in my wardrobe that always help me get through this transition period: light jackets, long cardigans, and blazers. Yesterday I was forced to do a bit of shopping (ran out of candles, can’t have that!) and so I thought that I’d show you what I wore.

zara biker leather jacketEver since I’ve discovered Gina’s blog earlier this year, I’ve become obsessed with Express, all over again.  She blogs almost exclusively about Express and features lots of outfit ideas, great articles about some staple pieces and I have to say that quite a few of my Express purchases were influenced by her. Like my top: this Barcelona Cami from Express is one of my favorite tops and I have it in about 5 different colors. It’s such a great top that can be dressed up or down, you can wear it with skirts, shorts or jeans. It’s great for wear during summer because it’s light, but it’s also great for layering and looks great with blazers and jackets.

My jeans are also from Express. If you follow me on Instagram then you probably know just how much I love their jeans. They are very comfortable and I absolutely love the way they fit me. I also always buy them short, which also gives me perfect length. I’m average height (5’6”) but their regular sizes are always too long on me.

My jacket and my little bag are from Zara. During this time of the year, I literally live in this jacket. It’s comfy and thin, but it’s enough to keep me warm during those cold evenings and mornings. I also get compliments whenever I wear it and everyone always asks me where I bought it. I got it well over a year a go, but this one is similar.

My shoes are from Guess. I got them ages a go, and they’re probably one of the comfiest pair of heels I own.

My over-sized sunnies are Burberry (similar here).

I still feel much more comfortable behind the lens than I do in front of it, but these OOTD posts are always a lot of fun to work on.
