THIRTEEN THOUGHTS

Mark Jacobs-Honey

honey by marc jacobs review

It’s been a while since I bought a new fragrance. Usually I go back to scents that I am already familiar with. I first got a sample of Honey by Marc Jacobs few weeks ago in one of the Ulta catalogs that I got in the mail. It was something different that I usually go for, I like strong and woody scents, but for some reason this one really appealed to me. Next thing you know, hubby surprised me with a bottle of “Honey” :).

It’s definitely a very “fresh”, energetic and sweet fragrance with top notes of pear, orange, mandarin and punch, middle notes of orange blossom, peach and honeysuckle and base notes of vanilla and honey. I think it’s more of a casual scent that is perfect for daily use. It probably doesn’t last as long as I’d like it to, but as I said before, I like scents that are much stronger. Nonetheless, I am in love with it, plus how can anyone resist that adorable bottle?

You guys will not believe what happened when I was taking these pictures! I had my back door opened, to allow more light to come in so I could take the pictures, and an actual bee flew in and sat on the box. How cool is that? It was probably the bright yellow color that attracted it, but still, it couldn’t be more appropriate, could it? :)
