These Mesmerizing Mineral Palettes* from Pixi in Amethyst Aura and Aquamarine Dream come with six silky, bold and beautiful shades.
Pixi has 9 different versions of these Mesmerizing Mineral Palettes and Amethyst Aura and Aquamarine Dream are newest additions to the collection. These palettes are nice and small which makes them perfect for both storing and traveling. The mineral formula in these eyeshadows is infused with Vitamin E which nourishes and protects delicate under eye skin. The gem-stone inspired colors are bright and reflect the light beautifully.
Aquamarine Dream palette (top) comes with aqua, turquoise, and sapphire inspired shades, while Amethyst Aura (bottom) comes with rose, indigo, and vibrant violet shades. The formula of these is smooth and silky, the pigmentation is quite nice considering this is a drugstore product, especially when paired with an eye primer. They blend beautifully and even though I don’t use too many bold colors like these in my makeup, I love adding a pop of color on my lower lash line, and these are perfect for that. The only thing is that I think that last three colors in the Aquamarine Dream Palette are quite similar.

November 29, 2015 at 1:02 pmThe pigmentation is better than I was expecting! They aren’t shades I would go for though and I agree the last 3/4 shades in the blue palette are very similar!

November 29, 2015 at 1:50 pmI would never wear these colours because I’m far too intimidated but they do look lovely and pigmented but the last three colours are very similar like you said!

November 29, 2015 at 4:06 pmI agree that the blues look quite similar, it’s a shame. I’ve been wondering about the quality of these little palettes for a while, there are some other ones that look very pretty :) x

November 29, 2015 at 5:22 pmGreat review! I’m the same as you Paula – I would only EVER put these under my lower lash line, but only once a blue moon. I’m all about the bronzey or natural eye shadows for everyday.

December 1, 2015 at 1:21 amAhh I did not expect the colours to be THAT rich and pigmented in your swatches, they are gorgeous! Mixing the two palettes on the eyes would be really pretty too!
