Lorac Pro Matte Palette

Lorac-Pro-Matte-Palette-Review

Lorac-Pro-Matte-Palette-ReviewIt’s no secret that I’m crazy about matte eyeshadows. One of my favorite matte eyeshadows come from Lorac’s Pro Palette– it’s seriously one of the best palettes I have in my collection.

As soon as I saw that Lorac has released an all-matte palette: Lorac Pro Matte Palette for Fall 2015– I knew I had to have it.

This palette comes with eight eyeshadows (Left to right): Bare (light beige), Latte (medium gray-brown), Corduroy (medium dark-brown), Chocolate (brown with red undertones), Linen (bright white), Pink Mauve (soft, dusty mauve), Burgundy (dark, red-purple burgundy) and Jet Black (dark black with neutral undertones).

The texture of these eyeshadows is incredible. It’s smooth, velvety and they all blend absolutely beautifully. It’s almost like they have a cream-to-powder formula. The color payoff is great- these have amazing pigmentation and the formula is long-lasting, too (about 7-8 hours on me). This palette has everything you need to create any look; from a soft, day-time look, to a dramatic smokey eye. The compact size and the fact that the palette comes with a mirror, also makes it an ideal travel companion.

When I first looked at this palette I was convinced that none of these eye shadows were new, but they actually are brand-new and were not included in any previous palettes. They all look very familiar to the colors from both Lorac Pro and Lorac Pro 2 palettes.  I only have the first Pro palette, but if you have both, you may find that Lorac Pro Matte palette eyeshadows are a bit similar to mattes already included in Lorac Pro and Lorac Pro 2.

Lorac Pro Matte Palette is a great set of basic, neutral, pigmented, vibrant and long-staying eyeshadows. I definitely give it a thumbs up and highly recommend it, especially if you love mattes. This would also be a great palette for a makeup newbie, or someone who’s just starting to play around with eye makeup.
