If there is one thing that I like to shop for more than makeup, it’s home decor. Funny thing is, I usually find the cutest things at stores where I wouldn’t typically shop for decor.
A few of the surprising places where you can find pretty and usually very affordable home decor pieces are clothing stores. Urban Outfitters, Forever 21 or Modcloth all have a home/gift section where you can find tons of pretty little nick-nacks. H&M Home and Zara Home also always have a lot to chose from as well.
Firefly String Lights // Urban Outfitters
These Firefly String Lights from Urban Outfitters are so incredibly dreamy. I love having little lights like these in my closet/makeup room. It not only looks pretty and cozy, but also always helps me relax and just puts me in a good mood. They also look gorgeous on photos.

One thing that I can never have enough of are all sort of ceramic trinket dishes. I love them for storing my jewelry and incorporating them into product photography as well. The second dish is from Zara Home and it’s actually a bread plate, but I think it’d have no trouble doubling for a jewelry dish, I love the delicate, gold detail.

I don’t have a specific place to shop for homeware, just anywhere really, but H&M and Zara seem to have amazing decor sections which I have yet to check out. Thanks for the recommendations!
