REN Flash Rinse 1-minute facial

A firming and toning facial treatment formulated with 10 percent vitamin C that turns a dull complexion bright in as little as 60 seconds.. sounds too good to be true?

REN Flash Rinse 1-MinuteFacial is an express treatment that is formulated with water-activated Vitamin C that promises to reduce small skin imperfections and turn dull-looking skin to a bright, toned and smooth complexion.

Suggested use:
-Apply generously to face and neck, add a small amount of warm water with your fingertips, and briefly massage to activate.
-Leave on for one minute.
-Rinse.
-For sensitive skin, REN recommends a patch test on the inner arm prior to use. If skin turns red, do not continue.
-This is a highly active product that should be used as instructed.
-When the vitamin C in Flash Rinse is activated by water it can give off a slight metallic fragrance. This disappears when the product is thoroughly rinsed off.

REN 1-minute facial

What I love:

-the packing is great, love that it comes in a tube as opposed to a jar
-makes my skin look bright, clear and glowy
-smoothes rough skin, evens out the texture
-it’s a super quick process, no need to wait for the treatment to dry or absorb, all it takes is 1 minute
-works as promised
-a little bit goes a very, very long way

What I didn’t love:

-not that it bothered me too much, but my skin did lookslightly red after I rinsed off the treatment, which is why I’d definitely recommend using this at night before going to sleep.
-if you have sensitive skin, you might find this slightly irritating, to soothe my skin after this 1-minute facial I love to follow with my beloved Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater and Jurlique’s Skin Balancing Oil before using my moisturizer.
-it has a slight coppery/metallic scent, so make sure to wash your hands thoroughly after rinsing off the treatment. This is not the first time I’ve experienced this with a Vitamin C skincare product, and it’s definitely not a big deal to me, especially considering these awesome results.

This treatment really reminded me of Philosophy’s Microdelivery Peel. From the smell, to texture to results, I think these products are very similar. The major difference here is that REN Flash Rinse 1-MinuteFacial treatment is a quick and one-step process, whereas Philosophy’s Microdelivery Peel is a two-step process that takes about 5 minutes.

Overall I have to say that I am very impressed with this treatment, especially since it’s so quick but brings such great results. If you have sensitive skin, I’d either stay away or do a patch test- this product does make your skin *tingle* and might cause slight discomfort. I also did not use this on my neck as recommended, because that’s where my skin is very delicate and sensitive.

Facials are always a good idea, so 1 minute? That’s great! I love the packaging too.

I’ve had this on my radar for quite some time now & love the idea that it’s so quick yet still delivers results. Will definitely look into it more when I finish up some of my other face masks x

I think the color of this product is interesting. I’ve never tried anything from this brand but I’ve been looking into it a lot. Thank you for the review.

I have another REN mask and the same thing happens to me in terms of making my face temporarily go red, I don’t know if that means my skin is to sensitive for it or if that’s just how it works. This product does sound really good though, and quick/easy!

This sounds like something I need to try, but I’d be worried with my very sensitive skin. Great review lovely! x

Sadly, this mask didn’t impress me, I feel like it doesn’t do much for my skin or maybe my expectations are too high, I don’t know, but I hardly reach for it. Glad you’re loving it though :) x

I think it might be because you already have great skin Dagmara! My skin is definitely problematic so I need all the help I can get haha ;)

A 60 second facial definitely sounds too good to be true!

I always spend SO much time letting products sit, I will definitely have to get a sample of this one and see how I go!

It sounds interesting, but I doubt it would play nice with my super sensitive skin. Those are some good pros thoughs.

I haven’t tried REN before but it’s on my to-try list! I always see really good ren sets from sephora but I have too much skincare at home! I want to try this since I’d love to just do all my facial routine stuff asap!

I have heard so much about this Ren offering and I am torn between getting this and the Glycolatic Mask/Serum. I even saw a combo that has both of these products and I have no idea why I did not purchase it… Thanks for sharing…xx
