6 Lippies I’m Loving Right Now

Chanel-lippie

Chanel-lippie Last month, I was all about that deep, intense, holiday red lip. This month I’m back to what I love the most: pretty and natural nudes.

Switching up your lipstick color is definitely one of the easiest ways of changing up your look. I usually rotate between a few colors every couple of weeks, but I also have some all-time favorites that I always reach for, whenever I’m in doubt- like MAC Modesty or Brave. Most of the time I also prefer matte formulas, but I definitely do not use them exclusively any longer- and especially not during winter when matte formulas can be a be a bit drying. A good lip scrub and an intense lip balm are definitely a must for me.

Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet La Merveilleuse (347)– this lipstick has the most amazing formula. Despite being such a vibrant color, it doesn’t feather out or bleed. This is the only bright-colored lipstick I’ve been reaching for lately. It has a beautiful, luminous matte finish.

Dose of Colors Stone– I finally got my hands on this lippie after months of seeing it all over Instagram. When I first used it, I was actually a little disappointed, because rather than a dusty mauve, it looked brown on me. I then tried applying a very thin layer, and got the exact color I wanted. The formula is pretty amazing: matte and long-lasting. I’m definitely planning on getting more of these.

Too Faced Melted Lipstick in Melted Nude– love the formula of these original Melted Lipsticks. Melted Nude is one of my favorite colors that’s great for an everyday wear. It’s long-lasting and I absolutely love the applicator.

Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lip Color in Seduction– I talked abou this product a few times over the last couple of weeks and I’m still loving it. Although the formula isn’t exactly matte, I still love it. It’s non-drying, very comfortable and Seduction is definitely my favorite shade out of the few that I’ve picked up.

MAC Modesty– there are a few MAC shades that I reach for whenever I’m not sure which color to go for, and Modesty is definitely one of them (I also love Brave for those occasions). It’s a nice and natural color that goes well with pretty much every makeup look.

Laura Mercier Paint Wash Liquid Lipstick in Petal Pink– this liquid lipstick also has one of my favorite formulas. It’s ridiculously long-lasting (even through eating and drinking) and the color is pretty and very girly. Usually I use colors like this only during warmer months, but I’ve actually been reaching for it quite often lately.
