I’ve been trying so many drugstore lipsticks lately, I’m running out of room to store them. The Milani Color Statement lipsticks are one of my current favorites. They are very creamy, highly pigmented and last a very long time.
I bought these in five shades, all of which are perfect for this time of the year: Sangria, Uptown Mauve, Ruby Valentine, Red Label and Nude Creme.
Nude Creme is one of my favorite nude lipsticks of all times, it doesn’t wash me out at all and has a nice pink-y undertone.
Red Label and Ruby Valentine look almost identical, although Ruby Valentine is more of a blue-tone red, while Red Label has an orange-tone.
Uptown Mauve is a mauve-y purple that isn’t too overwhelming and I can easily wear it to work.
Sangria, darkest out of all the shades and is very similar to MAC’s Rebel. I must say that I was a bit intimidated by how dark this color was, but really wanted to try it. It’s actually very wearable. Only thing about this shade is that it wasn’t as creamy as the rest, it’s just a tiny bit chalk-y.
