Ever have one of those days when nothing in particular goes “wrong” but you feel a bit… off?
I had one of those days today. I was at work, trying desperately to catch up on a few deadlines and everything kept going wrong. I found it so difficult to focus and ended up redoing half of my work about three times. At one point I had to step away from my desk, take a few deep breaths and try again. Usually that works for me, but today was…. well.. just one of those days.
Did I mention that I actually love Mondays? So, no, it had nothing to do with today being a Monday.
It was a short day for me, but by the time I got home I felt d-r-a-i-n-e-d. So, I had a cup of my favorite tea (peppermint, duh), some pup cuddles, did some writing and found a way to re-center myself. Of course that doesn’t mean that I kind of can’t wait for this day to be over.
Yes, even the Pollyannas of the world have crappy days once in a while.
