Mmmkay, so this LL post is all about the products I loved in May, so you might catch another one of these in the next two weeks.

A few new products, and some old favorites that tend to resurface and make it back into the rotation. Perricone MD’s Cocoa Moisture Mask has been a favorite of mine for years now. It really helps with hydrating/plumping the skin, all while smelling like chocolate. Doesn’t get better than that and Sephora has it on sale now, too.

Two Sunday Riley bits: Good Genes that I loved for years and the Ceramic Slip Clay Cleanser. I talked about Good Genes a fair amount of times- it’s a great lactic acid treatment that gives those overnight results we all want. I thought that Ceramic Slip would be too drying for me, but it’s absolute perfection. I had a horrible reaction to medication where I broke out with cystic acne all over my chin for the first time since going off Accutane (a lovely thing to happen to you when traveling, that’s for sure) and this cleanser helped me calm my skin down. I actually cried when I realized that I must have left it in a hotel bathroom in one of the places we were visiting and bought another bottle the minute we got back to the US. I love how gentle it is, still leaving my skin feeling clean. I also do the Flash Fix Mask where you mix the two and leave on skin for 10 minutes and it’s also a great and quick pick-me-up for skin.

These Esqido lashes* are absolutely beautiful and last forever. This style is called “Lashlorette” and you saw me wear them in this post. I also loved the glue that came with the lashes, mainly because it made for a much easier application than with my usual favorite, Duo, which tends to get messy.

I actually finally caved in and tried lash extensions and haven’t used mascara or falsies since before my little break, and I’ll have an entire post talking about the experience.

Caudalie’s Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet* is such a beautiful product! I’ve been using it for months now and the lightweight mousse-like formula is amazing. It hydrates but doesn’t leave any thick or greasy residue and leaves my skin feeling extremely soft.

Beauty Favorites

Before my trip, my sister warned me that the weather in Poland was pretty extreme for this time of year. I was not prepared for it to be THAT hot. To add to insult to injury, Air Conditioning isn’t a thing (yet), and finding something cold to drink can be a challenge. Because NO ONE keeps their drinks in the fridge. Even places that did have AC, just weren’t cool enough neither for me or the husband.

Anywho, the point that I’m trying to make is that I was wearing as little clothing and makeup as possible which resulted in me exposing the world to my pasty-white legs and arms (I ended up getting a spray tan later on though).  I always love all kinds of shimmer oils with a hint of bronze that make me look a bit less transparent. My current favorite is the Very Sexy Now shimmer oil from Victoria’s Secret. I love it because it smells SO good, it’s very lightweight and not over the top like some bronzing/shimmer products, just very delicate and subtle and doesn’t make me look like a shimmering disco ball.

KKW-x-Mario-Palette

KKW x Mario 10 Pan Eyeshadow Palette. You might have noticed that I’m not really drawn to any of the Kardashian/Jenner beauty products/brands, never bought anything from their lines, even though both Kim and Kylie always have fun with their looks and always look stunning.

I got this palette as a gift from a friend and I quickly fell in love with it. I mean the color selection is just beautiful, the eyeshadows are so soft, creamy and blend beautifully- there is just SO much you can do with this palette. I will say, however, that I had a few pans fall out the same day I started using the palette, and the palette itself is barely recognizable, as the entire thing just gets overly messy. I don’t know if it’s the overly creamy/soft formula of the shadows, but the product just gets everywhere. Nevertheless, it’s been one of my favorite palettes to reach for, over the last couple of weeks.

Like I mentioned before, you will probably see another Lovin’ Lately post this month, as this one was supposed to go up last month. What are you loving at the moment?
